Scholars in Haverhill High School's Music Pathway can pursue career paths in vocal and instrumental music, audio production, music direction, and composition.

Music Exploration offers scholars an overview of musical elements and instruments. Scholars can further explore their musical interests in Guitar and Piano Workshop classes, World Drum Ensemble, and Introduction to Music Software.

Scholars can choose to follow vocal or instrumental tracks within the Music Pathway. Mixed Chorus and Beginning Band classes offer performance opportunities to first-time vocalists and instrumentalists. Concert Band is open to scholars who participated in the middle school band program.

 

Honors ensembles, including Jazz Band and the A Cappella Vocal Group "The HillieHarmonies," provide challenging performing opportunities for more advanced scholars. AP Music Theory prepares scholars with the necessary fundamentals to successfully pursue a college degree in music.

 

Scholars who complete the Music Pathway graduate with special recognition and are prepared to audition for college music programs.
