Photography Club
The HHS Photography Club is open to all students who want to share their love of photography! No skill is required, you can join just to watch and learn! We will explore many forms of photography, from digital to analog and participate in several photo contests, workshops and field trips throughout the year.
Monthly Mini Contests
Each Month, members may submit two photos related to the theme for that month. The members will then vote for the picture that best represents the theme for the month. The winning photo(s) will be featured on the Art Department website and school newsletter!

Share and Learn Slideshows

Every month at our meetings, members may submit a selection of photos (up to 5 photos) to share with the group. A brief description of each photo is encouraged and allowed. This helps us understand each other's photographic interests and learn about our travels and experiences.

Workshops & Learning
​
From time to time, the club conducts workshops on various photographic skills and techniques such as darkroom photography, light painting, macro photography, portrait lighting and post processing.
Workshops are subject to change based on COVID guidelines.

Field Trips
​
Periodically, the club will gather to travel to explore photographic events and locales in the area. We are always amazed at the variety of perspectives and interpretations that our members produce!
Some Field Trips days may also include local artist visits and virtual gallery visits.
