Senior Spotlight- Kallyn Lavallee

In AP Art Studio, students are engaged in making a body of work that is mature, at a pace that is very rigorous. The course aims to align with a studio course the students might experience in college. As I look over Kallyn's portfolio I see the culmination of skills she learned in the visual arts pathway over her four years. It is exciting to see the skills learned in her freshman foundations class combine with her more advanced upper level classes. Her portfolio is a visual representation of the pathway model at work!

By thoughtfully curating the curriculum and sequence of classes for our Fine & Performing Arts students, they are able to build, grow and evolve into a creative thinker who is ready to take on their next chapter!
